Innovation for girls, by girls - Girl Scout Leadership Institute

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 10–SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 13

The Girl Scout Leadership Institute brings together 1,200 girls who are recognized as leaders in their councils to connect and take action on matters that touch the future for girls and for our movement.

This year’s theme – Leadership and Innovation, the Next 100 Years – will stimulate the girls to think big. Smartly designed interactive sessions will make the most of their time together.

Focus areas include:

The GS Leadership Institute will run in parallel with the National Council Sessions from Thursday to Sunday. The girls will attend opening and closing ceremonies and participate in the Conversations of Consequence. They will also play a leading role in launching our 100th Anniversary Take Action project: Girl Scouts Forever Green.

Remember: Only your council can select and register 10 girls or more for the Girl Scout Leadership Institute. Contact your council for more information.

Councils: Every council is invited to bring ten girls, age 13 and up, along with two chaperones for each group of ten, per GSUSA safety guidelines.
