The John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) is located approximately seven miles from the Greater Columbus Convention Center and our Convention Hotels. The airport provides service to almost all major airline hubs in the United States. Columbus supports a variety of airlines. It’s super easy and inexpensive to get from the airport to downtown. For $2.75 each way, COTA AirConnect provides direct bus service between the airport; downtown hotels and the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Taxis and shuttle service are also available. The airport is approximately 7.5 miles (approx. 15 minute ride) from the convention center.

Travel While In Columbus
Public Transportation: The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) provides local bus service throughout the Greater Columbus area. You can plan your trip using COTA with the trip planning services on their website. The local/crosstown fare is $2 USD per trip ($2.75 USD Express fare from the airport to downtown).
The FREE CBUS Circulator
COTA runs a free bus (CBUS) that circulates every 10-15 minutes through the Arena District (the Convention Center) Short North, Victorian village, German Village and Brewery District. This will allow you easy access to all of the best restaurants in Columbus. The CBUS drivers are delightfully helpful and will send you in the right direction if you ask for an assist. CBUS Route Map
To provide safe and secure facilities for our attendees and keep registration fees low, Girl Scouts of the USA has set up an official hotel housing block near the Convention Center. Reservations are now open at any of these 13 hotels—reserve your room today!
If you need more than six rooms in the same hotel, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Room rates average from $131.00 to $245.00 a night and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We will offer limited shuttle service in the evenings for hotels in our block that are more than a five-block radius from the Convention Center.
