Stella & Dot

When a girl sells cookies, she unleashes her inner G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)™, compelling her to step up in powerful everyday ways, whether it’s raising her hand to speak up, saying “yes” to a new challenge involving her cookie business, working as part of a team to achieve shared goals, or learning to invest cookie earnings in causes she cares about.

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first known sale of cookies by Girl Scouts, Girl Scouts of the USA and Stella & Dot are collaborating on a cause marketing campaign to celebrate female leaders. With this cause marketing relationship, Stella & Dot #styleboss meets Girl Scout #cookieboss. For many Stella & Dot Stylists, selling Girl Scout Cookies was their first career move, so to speak. Because through our cookie program, they learned leadership and entrepreneurial skills that led them to become the women they are today.

As part of the campaign, Stella & Dot will contribute to Girl Scouts all net proceeds from eligible sales (with a commitment of no less than 20 percent of the retail purchase price) of its “Wishing Bracelet – Protective Eye” during the period of February 18 to March 18, 2017. As background, the Stella & Dot Foundation engages and inspires communities to affect positive change in the lives of women and their families. The CEO of Stella & Dot, Jessica Herrin, loved being a Girl Scout 30 years ago and, today, loves being involved through her youngest daughter, who’s a Girl Scout.

About the Stella & Dot Foundation
The Stella & Dot Foundation was established by Stella & Dot in 2010 to engage and inspire our community to affect positive change in the lives of women and their families. In addition to our support of our year-round global charity partner, Every Mother Counts, Stella & Dot donates to Autism Awareness Month in April and Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. To date, the Stella & Dot Foundation has donated over $2.5 million worldwide to causes important to our community. Together, through the donations made possible by the sale of our foundation accessories, our collective small acts add up to make a big impact.
