Process For Applying
FOR 2006 STUDIO 2BSM destinations

  1. There will be "early" and "late" application times. This gives girls two chances to apply for destinations. The earlier you apply—the better your chances of getting accepted.
  2. Girls will complete one application for each event they want to apply for. There will not be 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th choices. The applications are basically the same and require two letters of reference. A girl could use the same references for each event she applies for. There will not be an interview process.
  3. All applications will be mailed to the event sponsors at the same time, by the girls' home Girl Scout councils. (NOTE: Girl Scout councils may have different application deadlines, but all applications are due to the sponsors from the councils on the same dates. See application schedule box for details.)
  4. Because a girl could be accepted to several events, but only be able to afford to attend one, each girl, upon notice of her acceptance, will be required to pay an immediate deposit of between $50 and $100 to reserve her place. However, if she can afford more than one—let her go!!
