This environmentally conscious program explores many of the adventures and historical treasures to be found in the Caribbean. Sunsets, a bio-luminescent lagoon, snorkeling in the warm ocean, and an amazingly dense rainforest await us on our Caribbean Isle.

Come join 17 other Girl Scouts on this weeklong adventure in the Caribbean. Our island of choice is the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, a U.S. territory. Explore one of the largest cave systems in the world by walkway, kayak at night through a bio-luminescent mangrove tunneled lagoon, hike through an endangered rainforest, see the world heritage sites of Old San Juan, and learn about the universe at the largest radio telescope on the planet. We’ll even sneak in some time relaxing at a Caribbean beach. We’ll be staying in cabanas at a private Girl Scout camp on the edge of the rainforest. This will be an adventurous week packed full of amazing experiences.

A $180 deposit will be immediately upon acceptance to this event. (It's part fo the event fee, not in addition to it.)

You'll need to purchase your round-trip transportation to and from San Juan, Puerto Rico.
