Visit the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and learn about its rich history, explore the thriving coastlines, and have fun in one of the best cities in the United States!

Picture It

Come spend 8 days exploring Boston and the coastline of Massachusetts with 45 other Girl Scouts. During that time you will earn the Our Council’s Own Oceanography Badge by learning about the hidden treasures of the ocean, how pollutants are affecting today’s oceans and beaches, and about the different paths women scientists followed to study the sea. We’ll have you in the water, on the water, and beside the water.

You will have the opportunity to walk in the steps of our nation’s founders, follow the Freedom Trail, go on a whale watch, and feel the sand between your toes! Explore some of Massachusetts rich history and historical figures through day trips. This destination will be a fun-filled experience, and leave you wanting to come back to Beantown for more!

A $100 deposit will be due immediately upon acceptance to this event.  (It's part of the event fee, not in addition to it.)

You'll also need to finance your round-trip transportation to Boston, Massachusetts, as well as any spending money you may want to have with you.
