Prepare yourself for an exciting adventure on the island of New Zealand while experiencing the unique culture.

Picture It

With fifteen of your fellow Girl Scouts, travel to New Zealand to spend a week and a half with Girl Guides from across the globe. Landing in Acukland, NZ you’ll travel to the Southern Hemisphere’s tallest building, the Skytower. Cruise around the 144 island in the Bay of Islands, toboggan the sand dunes, visit Waitomo Caves and experience Te Puia hot mud pools and geysers. Dive into the New Zealand culture with a traditional Maori concert and watch the Maori artists carve as they have for centuries.

  Must be 16–18 years old at the time of the event.

Get It

• All participants must have a valid Passport (valid until 6 months after return to the USA)
• All participants must have an medical exam before travel and shots and vaccines recommended by the CDC
• Although GUUSA does not require ownership of a uniform, when participating in this event, Girl Scouts are required to wear the official uniform. Girl Scouts must wear - white polo top, khaki pants, vest or sash and your membership pins.

$ It

A $250.00 deposit will be due immediately upon acceptance to the event. This is part of the event fee, not in addition to it.

Participants are responsible for their transportation costs to and from Las Vegas, NV and their own spending money. The group will meet in Las Vegas on July 22nd or 23rd and depart on July 25th for New Zealand.
