GS Central

We're updating our pages to better reflect the new national program portfolio. Part of that effort includes moving pages formerly on Girl Scout Central (GS Central) into the most appropriate section on the site. Girl Scout Central will be phased out and you will find former resources in their own sections. Please use the following as a guide.

Activity ideas, like games, music and song leading, as well as money-earning guidelines can be found under For Adults/Volunteering/Resources.

The calendar, forms, glossary, scholarships, swaps, and an explanation of "What is Girl Scouting?" can all be found in the Who We Are/Facts section.

Community outreach, like the Girl Scouts Beyond Bars program, and Girl Scouts in Detention Centers, along with Challenge and Change, P.A.V.E., Mix It Up, and the Healthy Relationships series can be found under Who We Are/Our Partners/Initiatives.

Environmental Awareness can be found under Program/Program Basics.

As always you can find journeys, The Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting, cookie and product sale activities, highest awards, and badge information under the Program tab.

In Girl Scouting, girls start with a Journey from the National Leadership Journeys series where they can earn awards, have fun, and take on projects that change the world! Girls then add The Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting to their program portfolio. The Girl's Guide offers girls national proficiency badges, traditions and history, an awards log, and much more. For complete information about what girls from kindergarten through high school do in Girl Scouts and the awards they can earn, please see the Program page.
