Join Girl Scouts all over the world, who are taking the Girl Scouts Forever Green Pledge. Anyone can join us, so ask your friends, families, classmates, and neighbors to sign up, too! Actions you take in your daily life throughout the year help protect the environment and conserve natural resources. You can make a difference!

Idea: When you've decided what you're going to pledge to do, write your commitment on a Girl Scouts Forever Green Pledge Card (PDF). That way, you'll have a reminder you can keep with you!

Need a printable or paper version of the Pledge (PDF)? Use this version in group settings or when online access is not possible. Be sure to collect and enter the pledges here on this page to make the pledges count and see the environmental impact add up.

Save Energy:

Turn off lights and unplug electronics when not in use.

Replace at least one light in my home with an ENERGY STAR^® qualified or energy-efficient light bulb.

Walk, bike, or take the bus instead of using a car to go to school or work.

Enhance Green Space:

Plant a tree to save energy by shading my home.

Plant a rain garden at my home, school, or another location.

Save Water:

Turn off the water when brushing my teeth or shaving.

Reduce Waste:

Switch from single-use to reusable bottles.

Switch from single-use to reusable bags.

Recycle all plastic containers, bags, and bottles.

Recycle aluminum cans.

Spread the Word:

Encourage others to get involved in Girl Scouts Forever Green and take this pledge.
