Water Drop Patch
For Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts and Girl Scouts 11-17

Water Drop Patch. © GSUSA. All rights reserved.

The popular Water Drop Patch Project, co-produced by Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has been given a face-lift!

The Water Drop Patch Project inspires Girl Scouts to learn about water quality and to take action in their communities to protect and restore local water resources.

The manual is designed for adult's use with Girl Scout Brownies through Ambassadors (grades 2-12) and is divided into grade-level, age-appropriate activities aligned to the new Girl Scout Leadership Experience. Updated information and new and expanded girl-lead, learning by doing and cooperative learning activities help Girl Scouts:

Discover water-related environmental issues and explore their own beliefs and values
Connect with one another to educate their communities about the need to protect the Earth's valuable water resources
Take Action by making positive impact such as changing household
practices that contribute to pollution, conducting streamwalks and
clean ups, testing water quality, building rain gardens and creating
outreach videos.
