Where to Place Insignia on a Uniform
Junior Girl Scouts (Ages 8-11)

Sign of the Rainbow, Sun, Star, and World Place the Sign of the Rainbow, Sign of the Sun, Sign of the Star, and Sign of the World in two rows, with Sign of the Rainbow and Sign of the Sun on the right. Wear them centered horizontally directly below the Brownie Girl Scout Wings on the sash, or directly below the membership tab on the left side of the Junior Girl Scout vest. Each sign signifies specific achievements as a Junior Girl Scout.

Girl Scout badges, patches, awards, and other insignia that are earned for the accomplishment of skill-building activities or any set requirements should be presented, worn, or displayed only after Girl Scouts have completed the requirements outlined in the appropriate program materials.
