I would like to invite you to join a very special group of individuals—the Legacy Circle. The Legacy Circle, established in 2003, honors individuals and families who have notified Girl Scouts of the USA of their intention to include the national organization in their estate plans.
The organization has been the beneficiary of many such gifts, both large and small since our founding. Regardless of size, each gift has been critical to sustaining Girl Scouts of the USA's position of leadership in youth-serving organizations. As we face the challenges of the 21st century, we will rely more on the generosity of individuals than ever before to help us sustain our mission in the future. A planned gift is a gift that will benefit future generations of girls. Please remember Girl Scouts of the USA in your will and trusts. I encourage you to explore this section of our Web site to learn more about the many gift options available in planned giving.
Membership in this group is open to any individual who elects to give to the national organization by a bequest in their will, a retained income gift, a gift of their retirement plan benefit, or life insurance. Donors may choose to give anonymously, and details are kept strictly confidential.
We thank those who have made a commitment to Girl Scouts of the USA in their estate planning. The individuals listed below became planned giving donors prior to September 30, 2003, and are recognized henceforth as charter members of the group:
