Girl Scouts Centennial Celebration and ToGetHerThere Campaign Launch on Capitol Hill

February 1, 2012 — Members of Congress joined Connie Lindsey and Anna Chávez on Capitol Hill for a 100th Anniversary celebration and to launch the ToGetHerThere campaign focused on achieving balanced leadership. The program kicked off with welcome comments from Anna and Connie and continued with testimonials and personal stories from members of the House of Representatives and the Senate about their Girl Scout experience.

Attendees were able to speak with Girl Scouts gathered at booths around the room about their scouting experience and were invited to sign the "ToGetHerThere" banner in support of their commitment to balanced leadership.
