The Coca-Cola Company

The Girl Scouts of the USA is proud to have The Coca-Cola Company as one of the major sponsors of the 2005 Girl Scout National Council Session/50th Convention and Green Ribbon Committee member. The Convention was hosted in Coca-Cola's birthplace, Atlanta, Georgia, on October 7-10, 2005. The Coca-Cola Company's sponsorship supported the 2005 Girl Congress—a girl-centric forum to speak out and voice girls' issues for the future. The key theme of the 2005 National Girl Congress was Healthy Living.
The Coca-Cola Company has a strong tradition of giving back to the community. Through the Coca-Cola Foundation, established in 1984, more than $180 million has been contributed to education, including scholarships, programs and initiatives to increase the academic success of students in public and secondary schools.
The Coca-Cola Company is the world's largest nonalcoholic beverage company. Through the efforts of its employees, bottling partners, and customers, the company refreshes consumers in more than 200 countries, at a rate exceeding 1 billion servings each day. Along with Coca-Cola, the company markets four of the world's top-five soft drinks, including diet Coke, Fanta and Sprite, and nearly 400 brands that include low-and no-calorie soft drinks, waters, juices and juice drinks, teas, coffees, and sports drinks.
