The Goizueta Foundation
The Goizueta Foundation supports the Hispanic Initiative at Girls Scouts of the USA and in Georgia's two outstanding councils ─ Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta and Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia. The Goizueta Foundation works to assist national organizations that empower individuals and families through educational opportunities to improve the quality of their lives.
The program works to bridge cultural divides by promoting diversity, social achievement, physical activity, and involvement in science. The initiative provides Hispanic girls with tailored, culturally appropriate programs and opportunities that encourage them to reach their full potential. The Goizueta Foundation's support has enabled Girl Scouts of the USA to strengthen its resources and ability to provide Hispanic girls with contemporary program options that build self-esteem, provide leadership opportunities, and promote educational achievement within the context of Hispanic culture, language and tradition.
