IBM

Women represent 46% of the total U.S. workforce but only 25% of the technology workforce. Consequently, our goal is to encourage more girls to pursue careers in science- and technology-related fields. That's why we're proud to work in partnership with IBM to enable girls to discover science, technology, engineering and math.

An IBM grant will help support Girls Go Tech and other initiatives for girls and adults in areas that include training, resources and research. The grant will also provide seed money for local Girl Scout Council/IBM partnerships that result in science/technology events.

IBM strives to lead in the invention, development and manufacture of the industry's most advanced information technologies, including computer systems, software, storage systems and microelectronics. The company translates these advanced technologies into value for customers through their professional solutions, services and consulting businesses worldwide.

IBM is contributing innovative solutions and strategies that will help transform and empower global communities. Their diverse and sustained programs support education, workforce development, arts and culture, and communities in need through targeted grants of technology and project funds.
