Visa USA collaborates with Girl Scouts of the USA to give girls confidence in their ability to negotiate their futures and lead more productive lives by introducing concepts of personal money management, budgeting, and prudent investment strategies with financial literacy web games and resources.

Visa's support of the STUDIO 2BSM Focus book Cashin' In: Affording What Really Matters in High School, as well as the interactive game Making Cents of Her Life, help to increase the personal finance skills of today's youth. Research shows that although U.S. teens spent $172 billion in 2001, they lack the skills to fully understand how to save and invest their finances responsibly. Visa USA, through their Practical Money Skills for Life national effort, introduces today's girls to the workings of money and educates them about the importance of saving and investing.

Visa, a global and local corporate entity, is committed to its employees' community involvement. For more than a decade, Visa has focused significant resources in creating programs to reach schools, parents, and students with information on fostering better money management skills.
