Microsoft Store and Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) are excited to collaborate to inspire more girls to pursue their passions and transform the world into a better place.
Microsoft is the technology sponsor of the 2020 National Gold Award Girl Scout celebrations, demonstrating the company’s commitment to recognizing girls who create innovative and sustainable solutions for today’s most pressing issues. By providing the National Gold Award Girl Scouts with Surface Pro devices, Microsoft is supporting their work as change-makers who positively impact our local and global communities.
In addition to supporting this year’s National Gold Award Girl
Scouts, Microsoft is committed to encouraging and guiding future
generations of Gold Award Girl Scouts by using its resources to ensure
girls everywhere develop the skills and mindsets to succeed in today’s
economy. With this goal in mind, Microsoft Stores are hosting virtual
sessions during which girls work toward earning a myriad of science,
technology, engineering, and math (STEM) badges, including the
Computer Expert badge (Brownies), Digital Movie Maker badge
(Cadettes), Digital Photographer badge (Juniors), and Robotics badge
(Daisies and Brownies).
