2008 Girl Scout National Council Session/51st Convention

The 2008 Girl Scout National Council Session/51st Convention was a great success! Much thanks to the hard work and tremendous support of all of our girls, volunteers, staff, and sponsors.

Almost 10,000 people—including more than 1,800 National Council members and thousands of Girl Scout members and participants—attended the triennial event in the great city of Indianapolis from October 30–November 2. From interactive exhibits and riveting speeches by adults and girls, to entertaining performances and engaging business elements, Girl Scouts showed that they Can Lead Anywhere!

Don’t forget to make the GSUSA Convention Web site one of your “favorites” and to check back often, as we will be providing news, photos, videos, and highlights from Indianapolis in the coming weeks.

We look forward to the 2011 Girl Scout National Council Session/52nd Convention, which will be held in the wonderful city of Houston, Texas!

Stay tuned…
