Beyond Ambassadors
Sign Up for the Girl Scout Network Enewsletter
Graduating Girl Scouts will automatically receive this monthly digital newsletter, which includes career tips, event invitations, alum profiles, and volunteer opportunities. If you graduated before June 2021, you won’t receive it automatically, but you can sign up.
Update Your Information
Check MyAccount to confirm that your contact information is current (and not still your parents’ information). Then make sure you’re opted in to emails. If you need help signing in, talk to your parents, former troop leader, or council staff.
Make New Friends
If you’re moving for college or a job, reach out to connect with your new council and find out how you can get involved (many councils have an active alum group).
Short-Term Volunteering
Offering to volunteer for the organization that did so much for you is easy, no matter where you live!
Become a Troop Leader
Looking for something more? Consider becoming a troop leader or finding a troop to co-lead.
Join a Campus Girl Scout Group
Campus clubs have been hosted nationwide by women just like you for many years as an extension of the Girl Scout experience. Contact the area’s local Girl Scout council to see if there’s an active group at your school. If there isn’t, ask for the Campus Girl Scouts Guidebook and consider starting one yourself.
Stock Up on Girl Scout Gear
Show your Girl Scout pride with a Girl Scout alum coffee mug or one of our tote bags—which work just as well on campus as they do on the beach! You’ll also find a variety of choices designed just for lifetime members.
Explore Campus Organizations
Kappa Delta sorority and others offer support for leadership development, personal growth, academic success, and community service. The Kappa Delta Foundation has been a vital partner of Girl Scouts of the USA since 1998.
Join a Campfire Chat
Hosted by the Girl Scout Network, these live virtual events showcase a wide variety of topics, from cooking to financial literacy and career advice.
Become a Lifetime Member
As a Girl Scout alum, you’re eligible to become a lifetime member for $200 until you turn 30 (a 50 percent discount off the regular rate). This will keep you connected to Girl Scouts for life! Tip: If you haven’t graduated yet, discuss with your troop whether its funds or program credits are available for lifetime membership.
