About the Trip
The trip will visit four of the nine Azores islands: São Miguel, Faial, Pico, and Terceira. Each picturesque island is distinctly different with magnificent landscapes, mouth-watering foods, and exciting outdoor activities to enjoy. Hike along volcanic calderas, take to the sea for a whale watching excursion, relax in thermal springs, bike around volcanic crater lakes, explore lava caves, and marvel at the highest mountain in Portugal, Mount Pico. With barely 5% of its land developed, the Azores are a must-see locale for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
After this amazing outdoor adventure, we will visit the beautiful capital of Portugal, Lisbon, to experience the history and culture that makes Portugal so special.
