Broadway Bound: NYC, Times Square, and Beyond! July 11-18, 2026

Defy gravity as you explore NYC and Broadway. See shows, take workshops, and see what makes this city a go-to Destination.

About the Trip

Broadway Bound: NYC, Times Square, and Beyond! will have you taking theater workshops, attending shows, and exploring New York City, from Midtown to Battery Park.

You’ll be staying at Lake Rickabear, a Girl Scout Camp just an hour’s drive from Manhattan. Each day, head into the city that never sleeps. Start with musical theater workshops led by Broadway professionals for in-depth career development.

Enjoy a variety of classes that cover everything from makeup tutorials to choreography. Your instructors will have you stretching your limits and learning new skills. Your afternoons will be filled exploring the city with your guides. Discover the view from the Empire State Building and the natural beauty of Central Park. Take a ferry to the Statue of Liberty and see Ellis Island up close.  Explore the Brooklyn Bridge.

Have you dreamed of defying gravity? We'll take you to see the Broadway show, Wicked! You and other participants will vote on a few additional Broadway productions that we will attend.

By the end of your week, you will have experienced many of New York City’s neighborhoods, along with their cultures and foods. Broadway will become a part of your repertoire, and its lyrics a part of your fond memories, shared with the new friends you will make.
