CampHERO: July 26-31, 2026

Step into the world of public safety and challenge yourself like never before—experience real-life firefighter, police, and EMT training alongside professionals in the field. Whether you're eyeing a future in these careers or just want to build confidence and resilience, this unforgettable adventure will push your limits and prepare you to lead in any situation.

About the Trip

Feel the excitement as you rappel from a smoke tower, use real tools to cut apart a car, and practice CPR to the beat of “Stayin’ Alive.” Investigate mock crime scenes, learn how to clear a room like a police officer, and connect with real firefighters, EMTs, and police professionals. CampHERO gives you hands-on experience, builds your confidence, and helps you discover what it takes to stay calm and lead in an emergency.

Dig deep for the courage to try new things and push your boundaries during this unique Girl Scout experience. Learn from real-life protective services experts and get first-hand tips and knowledge. You'll come away with the confidence to pursue a future career in protective services and skills to help in an emergency.

You'll be side-by-side with pros when you get your hands on specialized equipment like ladders, backboards, IVs, handcuffs, and much more. You even get to rappel down a four-story building!

One of Girl Scouts longest-running Destination programs, CampHERO was established in 2012. Join us in our 14th year and discover what makes it such a memorable experience.
