About the Trip
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure with Girl Scouts from across the country and the world! This Destination centers around the Girl Scouts National Convention, where 10,000+ Girl Scouts will gather to celebrate the spirit, individuality, and self-confidence that make Girl Scouts shine. Through interactive workshops, inspiring sessions, and D.C. adventures, this will be a one-in-a-lifetime experience.
But that’s just the beginning. In this girl-led trip, you help shape the experience. Through five virtual planning sessions before the trip, your group will explore everything Washington, D.C. has to offer—from international cuisine to museums, diplomacy, pandas—your group will design our experience for evenings and non-Convention days.
National Convention is available for councils groups, troop, and families to attend, but this Destination is a special way to attend the event and explore D.C.; you'll join a group of 20+ Girl Scouts from many different councils and design your own experience.
Along the way, you’ll:
Build lasting friendships with Girl Scouts from diverse backgrounds
Share traditions, stories, and leadership experiences
Gain a broader perspective of the world—and your place in it
Whether you’re passionate about culture, curious about global
connections, or just excited to take the lead, this is your chance to
make the journey your own.
Join GSEIWI and be part of
something truly one-of-a-kind—because you’ll help create it.
